Our Mission

Our goal is to ensure your child has the summer of a lifetime. Our facilities are suited for a full program of sports, games, art, and drama. Beyond the activities, our experienced staff works individually with each camper to develop their skills, build their confidence, and encourage a strong sense of fair play.

This website will provide you with all the necessary information regarding the upcoming camp season. However, we believe that personal connection is what makes our camp community so special. If you have any concerns, questions, or suggestions, please feel free to call or email us at any time.

We look forward to an incredible summer together!

Sincerely,
Rabbi Yossi & Yudit Spiero

Our Staff

We believe that the most important part of camp is the people. Our staff is the reason we are able to create such a meaningful experience year after year. Our counselors are chosen for their warmth and their genuine care for each child as an individual. Many of them return every summer, which brings a wonderful sense of family and continuity to our program. They serve as mentors and friends to our campers, and the bonds they form are truly the highlight of the summer.

Our Culture

At Gan Israel, we want our campers to feel a natural sense of pride in their Jewish heritage. We explore our traditions and a love for the land of Israel through stories, songs, and hands-on activities. These weekly themes are woven into the daily fun—through games and group discussions—to help the beauty of our values come to life in a way that is relevant and joyful for the children.

Activities & Special Events

There is always something happening at camp. Our days are filled with a mix of Olympic-style games, drama, carnivals, and dress-up days. We love the local traditions we’ve built, and campers look forward to special highlights all summer long:

  • Challah baking and Shabbat parties
  • Hiking and outdoor adventures
  • Color war and team competitions
  • Creative Judaica crafts to bring home
  • Trip Days to favorite local attractions

Trips On The Go

Our "Trip Days" are a favorite for many of our campers. These excursions take place twice a week, giving the children frequent opportunities to explore local attractions and various spots across the state. These outings are designed around the children's interests, allowing them to see new places and enjoy adventures with their friends and counselors.
