Boot Camp
The High Holidays are supposed to be a meaningful and uplifting experience. But what if it's just all confusing to you? You see others who seem to know what to do and when to do it; they seem to know the tunes and the motions - have you ever wished you can feel more comfortable in the synagogue? Would you like to gain a deeper appreciation for the prayers and rituals?
This year, join Rabbi Yossi's High Holidays Boot Camp and discover:
- The trembling and joy of the season
- The tunes of many of the famous prayers and their meaning
- A sense of deep appreciation for the traditions
- And much more!
Each participant will receive a copy of the Rosh Hashanah Machzor (prayer book) and the Yom Kippur machzor, as well as an audio CD with the more famous and common tunes.
When? Begins Thursday, September 3rd 7:30-9:00pm and continues for three consecutive Thursdays.
Cost? $75 per person, includes three lessons, Machzorim and CD
